Free Privacy and Web Terms
In a change to our traditional reporting on the VLC Player and VLC accessories we wanted to draw to the attention of all our visitors that there are now a number of great sites on the web which provide essential web and legal documents free of charge. All websites should have a website privacy policy and a set of terms of use that cover the use by visitors of the website or blog. Here at vlcplayer.co.uk we have ourselves been looking for a provider of website terms and conditions and a privacy policy. We conducted a little research and were really surprised to find that there are a number of website offering these documents in template format free of charge. All that the sites ask is that you provide a link back to them in the document to credit them for providing the web terms or privacy policy. A fair deal in our mind. If you are looking for a privacy policy template try this site privacy policy template or for website privacy policy for free privacy policies. If you are looking for a set of website terms and conditions then this site is really useful. Finally if you just want a simple website disclaimer then this privacy site has a good template.
We think that the ability to download free privacy policies or website terms and conditions that over the coming months we will aim to add our own document for download free to our vlc visitors.

I have been looking for a Privacy policy for a few days now. I didn’t realise it was a legal requirement if you collect data!

Thanks for the information. I never really look through privacy policies, but after reading your article about it, I guess I really need to pay more attention with this policies next time.

I’ve been looking for a good template, but all the ones that I’d come across so far they wanted to charge you for. A free resource is always appreciated!

It is so important to have this information on your website if it applies to you. Definitely want to make sure that you are covered if something happens.
